John ran into Matt Diamondstone, a friend from his freshman year dormitory, at a local bar and show. The two got to talking, both expressing their mutual desire for musical greatness when John replied, “actually, I’ve been playing with this great drummer lately…” Excitement ensued. It was agreed that the three would play sometime soon.

We set it up and Jason asked if one of his housemates, a saxophone player, could join in. We agreed that it might be fun to add him in, and we were right! Nick Messina turned out to be quite a sax player and the improvisation began. Hours upon hours of improv led to ideas for songs and group collaboration made that into a reality.
